HW Tuesday 8/31/10
Democritus did not go through all the steps of the scientific method. He stopped when he thought that the smallest part of an element was an atom and did not know that there were parts of an atom. Compared to John Dalton, John Dalton did a lot more research to find that the atom was not the smallest part. He also found that atoms could not change from what element they were.
